Michael King

Michael is a Chartered Financial Planner and Independent Financial Adviser and has arranged many Group Pensions and Auto Enrolment schemes for companies and their staff.

He holds the Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Discretionary Investment Management and provides oversight and governance on pension scheme investment choices and performance of the investment funds within.

He also holds the Pension Management Institute Award in Pension Trusteeship which enables Michael to act as a professional Trustee for Pension schemes, Chair of Pension Trustee Boards and professional investment adviser to pension schemes.

This has given him extensive experience and knowledge and combined by taking the time to get to know clients, staff and other trustee members in schemes, a detailed understanding of the issues faced by all these different groups which can be used to develop long term working relationships.

Anna Knight Associates Ltd LogoAnna Knight CMgr, FCMI is a Chartered Manager with over 25 years’ management and project work experience in the health and social care sector. Familiar with not for profit, private, charitable status and public sector delivery, Anna has previously held the role of Chair of the Dorset Care Homes Association and until 2021 managed a care home with an outstanding rating.  Anna is currently involved in the management and development of a pilot project with a Local Authority and CCG tasked with the setting up of a Trusted Assessor Scheme.

Anna has worked in mental health, learning disabilities, forensics, housing and specialist commissioning. Anna is the Director of Anna Knight Associates Ltd and works with a variety of care providers across the country delivering support with HR consultations, income, profit and void management, recruitment and retention including fee negotiations with commissioners, the NHS and Local Authority brokerage teams.

Anna has a sibling with a learning disability and has been responsible for overseeing all his healthcare and support needs for over 16 years.  This gives her significant insight into the needs of families and friends trying to plan, support and manage care needs for vulnerable adults.

Anna also works alongside a Financial Advisor and specialist legal team on trust funds and care provision for vulnerable adults.  This includes welfare checks, care and support plan inspection and assessments, financial advocacy advice etc.
